In celebration of Fulton County’s Fall Folk Fest, Gary H. and Nancy L. Peck of 4117 Breezy Point Road, McConnellsburg, will open their property up to the public for their fourth annual John Deere display of 2-cylinder diesel and gas series tractors made from 1939-1959. This is the largest known collection of its kind in the country – right here in Fulton County! Gary has been an avid John Deere tractor collector and restorer for more than 35 years – starting his collection with an A in the 1970s. Twenty-eight of his favorites are currently on display on the hill in front of their home. Some are restored and some are on his “when-I-get-around-to-it” list. New this year is a rare 1956 JD 60 Standard, freshly restored. If you love antique John Deere tractors, long old-timer talks about “the way it used to be,” and browsing Nancy’s flea market items – follow the signs off Route 522 onto Breezy Point Road near Knobsville. It is a little more than a mile on the right. Cross the bridge between the antique John Deere painted wagon wheels and enjoy. Restroom facilities are provided to the public. 019p1.jpg
