McConnellsburg FFA members enjoyed a gorgeous Fulton Fall Folk Festival weekend entertaining young and old alike with their second annual petting zoo and straw maze. Many parents and members donated their time to make this community service a success. Chapter members brought their pets and farm animals for people to enjoy including pigs, calves, goats, lambs, rabbits, miniature horses and rabbits. Visitors even got to pet chinchillas, pot-bellied pigs and silkie chickens. Kids enjoyed getting lost in the straw maze, painting pumpkins and getting their face painted. In addition, the chapter offered chicken corn soup or ham bean soup cooked in a kettle for sale. “It was a great time,” commented new member, Zach Bowers. “I really enjoyed helping with the petting zoo and watching the little kids with the animals.” 61p1.jpg
