Rev. David E. Ford, pastor at First Baptist Church of Three Springs, talks about an early 19th-century English mahogany tea caddy last Wednesday at Tickle Your Fancy gift and tea shop in downtown McConnellsburg. Ford is a longtime collector of antique English furniture and decorative objects and spoke to a small group of tea enthusiasts about the history and use of antique tea caddies. Pictured with Ford are, from right, local artists Anne Gobin, Dee Behe and Tickle Your Fancy owner/operator Lin Henry. The talk was one of several events organized by Henry to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth and the annual Strawberry Festival here.
