Work began recently on the McConnellsburg Sewerage Authority’s plant expansion located just south of Mc- Connellsburg. The $5.4 million project was mandated by the state in order to come into compliance with Chesapeake Bay nutrient levels. Galway Bay of Mt. Braddock, Pa., is the general contractor for the job.
