Saturday, April 30, marked the seventh year that the Hagerty family has held its Stoneybreak Road cleanup. It started when the Hagertys asked Bethel Township Supervisior Robert Straight if they could help in some way with the bulk trash and tire collection program. The idea of adopting a road to clean up once or twice a year was planned and has continued ever since. In past years, the Hagertys have partnered with the Fulton County Homebuilders Association and Stoneybreak 4-H Club. "We strive to instill in our children the desire to give back to the community," stated Joe Hagerty. “This giving does not have to be mandated by a government regulation, it starts with us just deciding to help in any small way. It is my hope that other neighbors would elect to do some small task to improve their surroundings. This not only helps clean up your neighborhood, but it enables you to meet and know your neighbors.” 72p1.jpg
