This week’s Memory Jogger was submitted by the Fulton County Historical Society and pictures students of the Webster Mills school. The photo belongs to Merrill Bivens, who donated a copy to the Historical Society. Frank Bivens is in the picture, but the students are not identified. Frank enjoyed telling his boyhood prank of putting black shoe polish in a ring around the seat of the girls’ toilet. The original Webster Mills schoolhouse was moved about 100 yards east in the 1920s when Route 522 was rebuilt and then dismantled in the 1970s.
