The weather didn’t keep folks away from the the first Mic Night of the year at Warfordsburg Senior Center last Saturday night. The music was fabulous. The participants were Richard Duley, guitar; Bob Burton, guitar, Willard Hill, banjo and fiddle; Don Unger, guitar; Jack Wink, guitar and fiddle; and Ray and Terry Betts, guitar and vocalist. Floyd Palmer joined in by playing the bones. He also did a little dancing and so did a few others to the lively music. Hot dogs, ham and cheese sandwich, along with turkey corn soup were served. Cherry cheesecake was for dessert! Everyone seemed to have a good time. The next Mic Night will be February 12 – weather permitting.
