Fulton County Library Executive Director Jamie Brambley (left) along with library employees Maureen Snyder and Maggie Riggs sort books Tuesday in preparation for the library's annual book, plant and bake sale scheduled for May 14 and 15. On Friday the sale will kick off at 9 a.m. and run through 4 p.m. with a food stand open for those interested in having a bite of lunch. Saturday's special sale hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The North End Garden Club will be responsible for operating the plant sale as well as lunch stand on behalf of the library. Meanwhile, all books, videos and magazines are $2 per bag, according to Brambley, who further reports all proceeds from the special event will be matched by the Modern Woodmen of America. 003p1.jpg
