Therapy Dog Visits PASR Meeting


Marlys Palmer, retired basketball coach, Hagerstown Junior College, is pictured with her therapy dog, and Edwin Layton, secretary, Fulton County School Retires group. Marlys presented her canine friend, Hershey, to the Fulton school retirees at McConnellsburg last week. Palmer has made 350 visits to nursing home residents, hospice client, students and organizations such as the teachers. The therapy dog is a cross of poodle/Labrador retriever, is hypoallergenic, non-shedding, attentive to voice and motion signals.
