Historical Society To Hold Dinner Auction

The Fulton County Historical Society will host its annual dinner auction Saturday, November 10, at Needmore Bible Church, Needmore.

A silent auction will run from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., followed by a ham and turkey dinner at 6 p.m. A traditional auction will be held at 6:30 p.m. Adult tickets are $15, children 6-12 years $7.50 and under 6 are free. There is no charge for anyone wishing to attend the auction only.

A large number of items have been donated for both the silent and traditional auctions, such as a handcrafted cedar chest with painted scene, a strawberry quilt, a sporting clays package, a .22 cal Ruger American

Rimfire rifle, compound bow with arrows, autographed hockey puck from Washington Capitals #2 Matt Niskanen, a whitewater rafting trip, Gettysburg Diorama admission tickets, child’s Case wagon, collectable dolls, handcrafted wooden items, jewelry, dishes, Brian Tucker framed prints and framed prints by other artists, an antique squeeze box accordian, Victorian lamps, Christmas basket, numerous gift certificates from tri-state area businesses, a variety of items for collectors and decorators, and much more.
