County Voters Turn Out For Mid-Term Election

A strong turnout of county voters was predicted here Tuesday, with election officials hoping for as many as 74 percent of the county’s eligible voters. The mid-term election will determine control of congress, and many are calling it a referendum on President Trump’s leadership. Pictured is Mary Morgan receiving her ballot at the borough polling place in the Services for Children building. Also pictured is Judge of Elections Charlene Gordon, standing, and, from front to back, Nancy L. Bivens, majority clerk; Linda K. Clippinger, minority clerk; Kathy Lake, majority inspector; and Stephanie Clevenger, minority inspector. Local election results will be published in next week’s edition of the “News.” In the meantime results can be found at www.co.fulton.pa.us and statewide at www.votes.pa.com.
