Simple Assault

A physical argument broke out at 1387 Black Oak Road Sept. 29, at 11 p.m. According to state police, a 71- year- old male from Warfordsburg, struck a 63-yearold female from Warfordsburg several times.

Reckless Endangerment

A gun was fired in the direction of two people at 5884 Timber Ridge Rd. October 7 at 8:08 p.m. According to state police, a 13-year-old male from Big Cove Tannery, fired a shotgun three times in the direction of a vehicle carrying 24-year-old female from Warfordsburg and a 24- year-old male from Needmore in an attempt to scare them away after being found spotlighting on his property. The investigation is continuing.

Purse Found

A little black purse was found along 500 Fulton Drive Aug. 6 at 11 a.m. Can be claimed at the state police station in McConnellsburg.


Police were called to the 100 block of East Cherry Street Sept. 28 at 12:30 p.m. According to state police, a 12-year-old Big Cove Tannery child touched/poked the buttocks of a 13-yearold McConnellsburg child, after the 13-year-old asked them to stop.


A theft occurred at the 100 block of Buchanan Trail on Sept. 28 at 1:30 p.m. According to state police, Ashly Leanne Ramp, 32, Fulton County, lost her prescription pills after entering the grocery store. Anyone with information is asked to call Trooper Speigle at 717-485- 3131.


A theft occurred at the 600 block of East Maple Street between 9 p.m. Sept. 26 and 10 a.m. Sept. 27 . According to state police, a 24- year-old male from Saxton, and a 25-year-old male, also from Saxton, are accused of entering a vehicle belonging to a 51-year-old female from McConnellsburg at the above address and stole $5.

Burglary & Act 64

A 39-year-old man from Palmyra is accused of breaking into an apartment on Lincoln Way West sometime between Sept. 1 and Sept. 15. According to state police, Joshua Lee Nazelrod, 38, Palmyra, broke into the apartment of an 80-year-old man in McConnellsburg and stole several items. Nazelrod was also in possession of drugs.
