Delores A. Lucas

Warfordsburg, 81

Delores Ann Lucas, 81, of Warfordsburg, died at her home Tuesday, October 2, 2018.

Born April 6, 1937, in Washington County, Md., she was the daughter of the late Carl Flowers and Margaret (Roman) Flowers Mann; and the widow of Herbert G. Lucas, who passed away January 25, 2002.

She was a 1955 graduate of Hancock High school.

She retired from London Fog, in Hancock, Md., after 25 years of employment there.

She was a member of the Red Hat Society; and she loved doing arts and crafts, quilting and playing bingo. For many years she supplied fresh flowers to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, in Hancock, as well as Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church, in Hancock, where she was a member.

She especially loved spending time with her many nieces and nephews.

She is survived by three brothers: Carl R. Flowers and his wife, Shirley; Belvin L. Mann and his wife, Margaret, all of Hancock, and Larry A. Mann and his wife, JoAnn, Great Cacapon, W.Va.; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Homer E. and Harold L. Flowers, and Donald Mann; and one sister, Shelvy Jean McCusker.

Funeral services were held Monday, October 8, Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church, Hancock. Rev. Philip Unger officiated. Burial was at the convenience of the family.
