POLICE REPORTS

Harassment

Harassment occurred at 36 Cloverleaf Court on Sept. 16 at 8:13 a.m. According to state police, Robert Wayne Woodring, 49, McConnellsburg, engaged in an altercation with a 46-year-old female from McConnellsburg. Charges were filed.

Car Crash

A single-car crash resulted in a serious injury along Lincoln Highway on Sept. 10 at 11:34 p.m. According to state police, Alexis Burd, 22, Three Springs, was traveling westbound when she left her lane and swerved to right herself. As the 2008 Hyundai Sonata swerved, it struck an embankment off the westbound lane and overturned on its roof.

DUI

An Ohio man was found to be driving under the influence near mile marker 160 on I-70 on Aug. 16 at 1:22 a.m. According to state police, Robert Earl Callahan, 34, Cleveland, Ohio, was inebriated during a traffic stop and was taken to Fulton County Medical Center for a blood draw.

Theft

Several personal items were stolen from the 100 block of Waltz Road in Needmore on Sept. 5 at 5:30 p.m. According to state police, a 57- year- old female from Needmore reported that five cast-iron heaters, a cast-iron sink, a car battery, storm windows, door frames, and copper wire were missing. Burglary

Medications were stolen from the 200 block of Lincoln Way East on Sept. 8 at 12:30 p.m. According to state police, an unknown suspect stole two pill bottles containing Tramadol and Gabapentin from a 69-yearold McConnellsburg female. Single-vehicle Crash

A crash occurred on Great Cove Road on Sept. 11 at 6:02 a.m. According to state police, Kevin Leight, 35, McConnellsburg, was traveling north when he failed to negotiate a left-hand curve and lost control of his 2008 Ford Ranger. The vehicle traveled into the southbound lane an impacted and embankment. The vehicle then spun counter clockwise, sending it into the opposite embankment where it overturned on its left side. Needmore Fire EMS assisted with traffic control and scene cleanup.

Single-vehicle Crash

A crash occurred on Aughwick Road on Sept. 12 at 8:14 p.m. According to state police, Andrew Burkholder, 39, McConnellsburg, was traveling north in his 2004 Nissan Titan when he failed to slow down to negotiate a curve in the roadway. The Titan then travelled onto the shoulder of the northbound lane, where it struck a utility pole with its front passenger door. Burkholder attempted to overcompensate and lost control. The Titan then did a 180-degree turn and came to a final rest off the northbound lane.

Theft

State police have identified the man who stole several items, including a bottled drink, from Sheetz on Sept. 10 at 5:05 p.m. According to police, the theft was committed by Joshua Lee Nazelrod, 39, Mercersburg.

DUI

A Burnt Cabins man crashed into another person’s vehicle while under the influence on Aughwick Road on Aug. 25 at 11 a.m. According to state police, Jeffrey Lee Bigelow, 69, Burnt Cabins, crashed into a vehicle belonging to 58-year-old male and 54-year-old female from Chambersburg while under the influence of alcohol. He then fled the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Mc- Connellsburg at 717-485- 3811.

Crash

A crash occurred while a vehicle was attempting to pull out of the Dollar General parking lot in Mc- Connellsburg on Sept. 11 at 4:22 p.m. According to state police, Lloyd Smith Jr., 76, McConnellsburg, was preparing to make a left-hand turn from the Dollar General parking lot and failed to observe Heather Peck, 41, McConnellsburg, traveling west along Route 30. As Smith pulled out, his 2010 Dodge Charger collided with the Peck’s 2009 Dodge Caravan. Minor injuries were reported.
