McConnellsburg High School golf team opened its season with an 18-hole match August 22 at Down River Golf Course, Everett.

Top five scorers were Trey Heffelfinger, Mount Union (76); Colton Mellott, Mc- Connellsburg, (93); Dylan Taylor, Everett/Forbes Road, (106); Brighten William, Everett (110); and Donovan Garlock, McConnellsburg, (112).
