Downed Power Line

On Aug. 7 at 11:35 a.m., an officer of the PSP observed a downed power line in the parking lot of Mama’s Pizza at 138 Buchanan Trail as well as damage to their business sign. According to state police, the damage is believed to have been caused by a 2018 M2 Freightliner.


Four individuals stand accused of harassment stemming from an altercation that occurred on Aug. 12 at 3:50 p.m. near the intersection of Lincoln Way East and N. Third Street. According to state police, charges were filed against Chandra Bartholow, 23, Mc- Connellsburg, Shawn Hoffman, 27, McConnellsburg, Joshua Shore, 26, Mc- Connellsburg, and Emily Breneman, 20, McConnellsburg, when they got into a physical altercation.

Act 64

Marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found during a welfare check on the 3100 block of Dublin Mills Road on July 3 at 6 p.m. According to state police, Joshua Hess, 23, Hustontown, was charged with possession during the welfare check.

Parked Car Hit

A parked car was hit near 119 Lincoln Way West on Aug. 9 at 10:30 a.m. According to state police, a 2000 Mercury Sable was parked on the right side of the roadway against the curb when an unknown diesel truck tractor failed to stay in the proper travel lane and damaged the car’s driver side mirror. The truck driver then fled the scene.


A crash occurred on Aug. 2 at 4:43 p.m. on Lincoln Way West, just west of Second Street. According to state police, Lloyd Smith Jr., 75, McConnellsburg, and Dalton McQuade, 28, Mc- Connellsburg were stopped on Lincoln Way West facing east at the traffic light. Smith then accelerated his 2010 Dodge Charger and struck McQuade’s 1995 International Harvester. No injuries were reported, but Smith’s Charger sustained disabling damage.


Harassment occurred at Fulton County Medical Center on Aug. 1 at 9:03 p.m. According to state police, Patricia Messerly, 55, Warfordsburg, threatened physical harm to both Megan Barnett, 43, Three Springs, and Kathy Keebaugh, 48, Three Springs.

DUI Crash

A crash caused by a DUI occurred on June 28 at 3:10 a.m. on Horton Drive. According to state police, Rasheeda Harris, Mc- Connellsburg, was driving under the influence of alcohol and caused a crash. As a result, a male from Mc- Connellsburg and experienced several severe injuries and was hospitalized.

Criminal Mischief

A vehicle was egged sometime between August 4 and 8 at 2469 Sinoquipe Rd. According to state police, unknown actors egged a vehicle belonging to Joseph Tyson, 79, Fort Littleton.

Criminal Mischief

Vandalism occurred at Tractor Supply on Aug. 6 sometime between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. According to state police, an unknown person vandalized the back exit gate at Tractor Supply in Ayr Township. The investigation continues.
