Synthetic Urine Identified

An individual attempted to furnish a synthetic drug-free urine sample during a urine screening at the Fulton County Adult Probation office on July 27 between 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. According to state police, a 30-year-old male from Warfordsburg had a device that contained synthetic urine attached to his waistband. The individual was asked to provide a sample of his urine, at which time a probation officer observed the device. The accused later admitted to concealing the device in an effort to pass the drug screening.


A theft occurred at 677 Boy Scout Rd. on July 25. According to state police, an unknown actor stole an iPhone X from a 17-year-old male from Fredrick, Md. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call PSP McConnellsburg at 717-485-3131.

Sexual Abuse Of A Child

Sexually explicit digital images were exchanged in McConnellsburg Borough between 11:38 a.m. April 10 and 12:04 a.m. April 11. According to state police, Eric Baker, 26, Ohio, sent a sexually explicit image via Skype. The victim, a 14-year-old female, then sent him a sexually explicit image in return. Baker was charged with sexual abuse of children, obscene or other sexual materials, unlawful contact with a minor, and corruption of minors.

Forgery, ID Theft

An identity theft occurred at 131 High Germany Rd., between the dates of April 30 and July 20. According to state police, a 56-year-old male, of Warfordsburg, and a 50- year- old female, Warfordsburg, had their identities used for several service contracts.

Furnishing Liquor To Minors

A woman is accused of allowing minors to consume liquor at 36 Brooklyn Dr. on May 25 between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. According to state police, Brenda Truax, 45, Mc- Connellsburg, allowed one to six minors between the ages of 14 and 16 to consume Seagram’s during a party at her residence. Truax was charged with corruption of minors and selling/furnishing liquor to a minor.


A burglary occurred at 608 Lincoln Way East sometime July 27 or 28. According to state police, the victim was a 67-year-old male. If anyone has any information please contact PSP McConnellsburg at 717-485-3131.


A theft occurred at 116 Lincoln Way West on January 18 3 a.m. and 1:10 p.m. According to state police, an unknown actor stole a converter and a 220 volt wire cord from within the victim’s camper at the above location. A DUI occurred on the 9700 block of Great Cove Road on July 29 at 1:29 a.m. According to state police, Mason Ziler, 21, Warfordsburg, was found asleep in the driver’s seat of a running vehicle, diagonal in the middle of the highway, while under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and charged with DUI.


A Crystal Spring woman has accused Patrick Garrett Tomlinson, 23, also of Crystal Spring, of harassment following a July 24 incident at a 14457 Old 126 residence in Brush Creek Township. State police reported that Tomlinson pushed and grabbed the 21-year-old victim at 6:22 p.m.

Hit-and-run Crash

Driver Talon Mckenzie Bair, 21, McConnellsburg, was charged with hit-and-run July 8 for fleeing the scene of a 3:21 p.m. two-vehicle crash at East Poplar and North Sixth streets. He was taken into custody by state police after a short foot pursuit.

Identity Theft

The identity of a 55-yearold Thompson Road, Needmore, woman was used by someone July 14 to gain access to her bank account. State police reported the victim received an email from Apple requesting personal and bank information. Attempts to access the account were unsuccessful, police said. Anyone with information about this identity theft is asked to contact PSP McConnellsburg at 717-485- 3131.

DUI Charge

State police reported that during a 2:58 a.m. traffic stop conducted July 8 along the 100 block of Lincoln Way East, Joshua Alan Varner, 26, Fort Loudon, was found to be under the influence. Varner was taken to Fulton County Medical Center for a blood draw and subsequently charged with driving under the influence.

DUI/Act 64 Charges Pending

Driving under the influence and drug possession charges against two North Huntingdon males are pending following a traffic stop on Interstate 70 East in Union Township July 7. State police said the 19- and 20-year-old males showed signs of impairment during an 11 a.m. traffic stop for a moving violation. During a probable cause search wax THC and drug paraphernalia were found, police said.

Makeup Stolen

A 40-year- old McConnellsburg woman reported to state police that someone removed a box of makeup belonging to her from 120 North Second Street July 26 between 10 a.m. and noon. Police ask anyone with information about this theft to contact them at 717-485-3131.

Identity Theft

An identity theft occurred at 420 No. 3rd St. on July 30 at 4 p.m. According to state police, an unknown individual made a purchase with a Kohl’s card belonging to a female from McConnellsburg. She was able to stop the transaction before it went through.

Open Lewdness

A minor from Taylor Township was accused of open lewdness on July 6 at 10 a.m. According to state police, a 14-year-old male, Fort Littleton, is accused of masturbating in the presence of his 7-year-old brother.
