Following Sunday morning’s open horse show, rabbits and guinea pigs kicked off a week’s worth of livestock shows and exhibits Monday at the 98th annual Fulton County Fair at 9:30 a.m. sharp with 37 exhibitors.

This year the categories were open to 50 breeds and nine classes. The rabbits, judged by Barbara Smith, were evaluated according to the latest standard of perfection set by the American Rabbit Breeders Association. All rabbits must have a permanent ear mark and must be free from known health disorders.

To encourage the young exhibitors, the 2018 Fulton County Alternate Dairy Princess Kassandra Stermer, 2018 Pennsylvania State Rabbit Breeder’s Association Princess MolliLyn Petro, and 2018 Ms. Ag Queen Megan Keller attended and were photographed with the winners.
