Needmore Community Center and Boy Scout Troop 45 would like to thank the following businesses and individuals:

Snyder’s Woodshop, Ryan and Tana Unger, Eader’s Butcher Shop, Morton’s Feed Mill, Shives Pizza and Sub Shop, Cecil and Thelma Mellott, McConnellsburg Motor & Implement Inc., Giant Foods, Olive Garden, Mellott’s Auto Service, Younker’s Meat Market, Gordon’s Cruise-In, Wilkins Farm & Home Supply, F&M Trust, BB&T Bank, Ginger Majeski, McLaughlin’s Drug Store, Krazy Rayz’s Smoke House and Mamma’s Pizza for donating prizes this year.

Thanks to Community State Bank of Orbisonia in McConnellsburg, for paying the printing of the tickets. Thanks also to Tractor Supply, Dott Store, Foodliner and Save-a-Lot in Hancock for letting us set up and sell tickets. Thanks to Shives Pizza, Eader’s, Younker’s Meat Market, Mellott Wood Preserving Co., friends and family for help in selling tickets.

Also a special thanks to all who bought tickets. Thanks for everyone’s help; the fundraising was a success.

The raffle drawing was held Saturday, July 14, at Gordons Cruise-In. Thanks again to Angie and Dennis Gordon for letting us set up and hold the drawing at their business. Thanks to all who came Saturday evening for the drawing and to those who helped with selling and the raffle drawing that evening.

We ask that you support these businesses that donated to this fundraising.

We greatly appreciated all the help and support from the community for the Scouting program and the community center. This fundraiser will help with the upkeep and expenses of the center and for Boy Scout Troop 45 activities.

AMERICAN LEGION

The American Legion Auxillary Post 561 would like to thank the following for their generous donation of flowers for the veterans’ graves during the Memorial Day services:

Butterfly Gardens, Elvey’s Flowers, Giant, Jean Davis, Cindy Headley, Joyce Keefer, Fred Lynch, Bobby Skiles and the late Rhoda Souders

Also, we would like to thank the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and McConnellsburg High School band for their participation in the services both at Union Cemetery and the courthouse, and another thank-you to all the residents of the county who showed their support of honoring our veterans.
