Post 561 travelled to Shippensburg June 27 and reversed their fortunes from the prior evening. Threatening skies opened in the sixth inning, as did the scoring in what had been a pitchers’ duel. Post 561’s only three hits of the evening coupled with difficult field conditions fueled the five-run rally, which included a brief rain delay. Mitch Potter returned to the mound following the delay to finish his evening of six scoreless innings for the win. Potter surrendered only five hits while striking out 10 and walking two. Cooper Grove tossed the final inning to preserve the win.

A blowout turned into a comeback before Post 561 salvaged a victory at Biglerville Tuesday evening. The game featured 23 hits, 13 walks, 9 errors, and 4 hit batsmen. Post 561 opened a 10-1 lead through the top of the fourth inning before Biglerville responded. A five-run home half of the fourth made it a game, and a four-run sixth knotted the score at 10-10. Post 561 engineered a winning rally in the seventh, fueled by three consecutive extra base hits. Doogie Garlock, Grayson Hall, Brycen Hohman, Weston Brunner, and Cale Harman each collected two hits on the evening. Hall collected the pitching victory, tossing the final 1 2/3 innings.
