Anna Jean (Bishop) Peck, 73, Warfordsburg, died Sunday, June 17, 2018, at her home.

Born October 9, 1944, in Allentown, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John Russell Bishop and Jessie Leona (Divelbliss) Bishop Gallion.

She was a member of Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church, in Hancock, Md.

Prior to her retirement, she worked for many years as a seamstress for London Fog Mfg.

Her greatest pleasures were spending time with her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, and dancing with her husband. She also loved to garden.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Wilbur James Peck Jr.; a son, Wilbur James Peck III and his wife, Penny, Hancock; two daughters: Anna M. Schultz, Warfordsburg, and Lisa K. Dearborn and her husband, Patrick, Naples, Fla; two brothers: William Raymond Bishop and his wife, Sharon, Berkeley Springs, and Charles Filmore Bishop and his wife, Jean, Hancock; three sisters: Jessie Marie Shaw and her husband, Stanley, Hancock; Mary Jane Younker, Hagerstown, and Debra McDaniels and her husband, Steven, Mount Olive, Miss.; nine grandchildren: David Jr., Aaron, Tessa and Paige Schultz, Casey Murray, Wilbur J. IV, and Mariah Peck, Melody Madzar and Cooper Dearborn; 11 greatgrandchildren; and a very special step-father, Lewis Sam Gallion, Hancock.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers: Russell, Robert and Harry Bishop and Randy and Barry Lynn Gallion; and two sisters: Donna M. Johnson and Erma Rosetta Waugh.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 21, from 4 pm. until 8: p.m., at Grove Funeral Home, Hancock, and for one hour at the church prior to the services Friday. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 22, at 11 a.m., at Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church, Hancock, with Rev. Philip E. Unger officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
