Southern Fulton Grad Drafted By Phillies


Connor Litton Connor Litton After being immersed in baseball nearly all his life, Connor Litton, a graduate of Southern Fulton High School, had his dream of playing professional ball come true when he was selected in the 2018 Major League Baseball draft. In the 20th round of the draft, the Philadelphia Phillies picked East Carolina’s junior third baseman to be part of the National League team.

Helping to lead the Indians to two District 5 championships, Litton graduated from Southern Fulton in 2015. He then spent two years at Cowley County Junior College in Arkansas before enrolling at East Carolina University for the 2018 season.

It was during his time as a ECU Pirate that Litton hit .285 with nine homers in a solitary season. He also stole seven bases.

Now, with his dream career in sight, Litton has decided to refrain from his senior season at ECU.
