Identity Theft

State police report that sometime May 19 or May 20 the identity of a 47-year-old Warfordsburg male was used by someone who attempted to open accounts with Montgomery Ward and Kohls. Police are investigating the incident.

Theft Of Services

Danielle Catharin Haupt, 22, 130 North Fifth St., Mc- Connellsburg, has been accused by state police of depositing trash in a dumpster belonging to Larry Richard Wilson, 50, at 3 Gerald Circle, McConnellsburg. Police said the incident took place between 11 p.m. and midnight May 21.

Medication Stolen

A woman who was dressed as a nurse came to the home of Sandy Terry on Old 126, Brush Creek Township, May 14 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. performed a medical checkup and took the 66-year-old’s medications after advising her that she no longer needed to take them. The victim subsequently contacted her doctor and was told that no nurse had been sent to her home that day. State police ask anyone with information about this scam to contact them at 717-485-3131.

Tampering With Evidence & Act 64

A county woman was found passed out in a vehicle at the 800 block of Lincoln Way East on May 29 at 7:11 a.m. According to state police, a welfare check was conducted for an individual passed out in a vehicle. Upon further investigation, it was found that Megan Carbaugh, 28, Warfordsburg, and Ryan Gracey, 36, Orbisonia, were in possession of fentanyl. Gracey attempted to destroy the fentanyl. As a result charges have been filed through District Court 39-4-02 for tampering with evidence and possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia.


Harassment occurred at 189 Hunters Lane on May 23 at 9 p.m. According to state police, Darlene Gladhill, 30, Warfordsburg, and Michael Trail, 30, Warfordsburg, engaged in a physical altercation with a 26-year-old female from Warfordsburg and a 27-year-old male from Warfordsburg. Gladhill and Trail struck the 26-and 27-year-olds in the head with a closed fist. As a result, Gladhill and Trail were cited for harassment through District Court 39-4-03.

Indecent Assault/ Terroristic Threats/Harassment

Several altercations occurred on Great Cove Road near the Ft. Littleton turnpike exit between February and May of this year. According to state police, a 13- year-old male from Harrisonville threatened, harassed, and indecently assaulted a 16-year-old female.


A theft occurred at 311 Woodside Dr. on May 31 and June 1. According to state police, a 50-year-old male from McConnellsburg had pills and cash stolen from him. If anyone has any information contact PSP Mc- Connellsburg at 717-485- 3131.

Aggravated Assault

An aggravated assault occurred at 231B Woodside Dr. on May 26 at 10:04 p.m. According to state police, Tracey Miller, McConnellsburg, was stabbed by a female from McConnellsburg. Victim was taken to Fulton County Medical Center.


A crash occurred on Waterfall Road east of Cole Road on May 30 at 4:36 p.m. According to state police, Donald Hoffman, 44, Three Springs, was leaving his parked position and attempting to enter the northbound lane of Route 655. As Hoffman attempted to enter the northbound lane in his 2005 Chevy Colorado, he failed to observe Estelle Myers, 58, Hustontown, traveling south in her 2009 Subaru Impreza. As a result, Hoffman entered the southbound lane of travel and impacted with Myers’ front bumper. Both vehicles became disabled as a result of the crash. Myers sustained minor neck injuries and was transported to Fulton County Medical Center via Hustontown ambulance. Hustontown Volunteer Fire Co. assisted in traffic control. Tinman towing removed both vehicles from the scene and Hoffman was cited for a traffic citation through District Court 39-4-01.

Terroristic Threats/Simple Assault/Harassment

Harassment occurred on the 7000 block of Cito Road on May 22 at 5 a.m. According to state police, Richard Chafardon, 59, McConnellsburg, sent several threatening voice messages to a 34-yearold male from McConnellsburg. As a result, charges have been filed through District Court 39- 4-02.

Act 64

A known suspect was found in possession of marijuana on May 15 at 7:35 p.m.. According to state police, a traffic stop was conducted at I-70 E at mile mark 160. During the stop, an odor of marijuana was detected from within the vehicle. In the course of the search, the a glass jar of marijuana was discovered within the vehicle. Charges were filed through MDJ 39-4-03.


A harassment occurred at 5055 N. Clear Ridge Rd. on June 3 at 5 p.m.. According to state police, a verbal argument turned physical when a 47-year- old male from Hustontown was punched by a 44-year old female from Hustontown. Disdtrict court charges were filed through 39-4-02.


A theft occurred at 120 North Third St. between May 1 and May 25. According to state police, a female from McConnellsburg reported a stolen wheelbarrow.
