McConnellsburg Girl Scout Troop 80405 completed their sliver award project recently.

A sliver award is an award of three awards. There are the gold, sliver and bronze award. The silver award is when the girls have to do a project that is helpful to their community or other Girl Scouts.

This project is something that they hope will get passed down. For Troop 80405’ s project they did a journey in a day. This is when girls complete a journey (a Girl Scout lesson and learning process through activities) in a day. These girls taught their journey in a day to McConnellsburg Brownie Troop 80333. They taught them all about being themselves and being who they want to be and not being taken down by stereotypes.
