CFSD To Offer Summer Feeding Program

The summer feeding program will begin Monday, June 4, and run through Friday, August 17, at Central Fulton High School cafeteria.

During the summer, all children ages 18 and under, regardless of income status, can come between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. for a free breakfast and from 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., for a free lunch.

The program will be funded by state reimbursements under the Summer Foodservice Program and the funding is participation driven. The only stipulations are that the meal must be consumed in the cafeteria. No carryouts are allowed.

Adults may purchase a breakfast at a cost of $2 and a lunch may be purchased for $3. Breakfast and lunch will be served every Monday through Friday except for July 4.

Questions about this program should be directed to Julie Ramsey, Foodservice director, at 717-485-7040 or Raquel Ritter, Foodservice secretary, at 717-485-7074.
