Trap Team To Compete At State Tourney

This is the first year for the Southern Fulton Indians Trap Team, coordinated through the USA High School Clay Target League and the PA State High School Clay Target League.

The team consists of students in grades six through 12 from Southern Fulton, Central Fulton, Forbes Road and Fannett Metal. Students meet once a week at the Fulton County Pistol and Rifle Club for practice and competitions beginning in April of each year.

Team priorities are safety, fun and marksmanship in that order. Players do not need to have prior experience shooting clay targets to participate. The team will be participating in the state tournament June 2 in Clairton, Pa.
