Forbes Road (1-0, 1-0 SHL, 1-0 ICC) hosted its first game of the season and defeated Southern Huntingdon 4-3 to pick up a league win. The Cardinals scored 2 runs in the bottom of the sixth to seal the victory. Brycen Hohman came in to relieve Grayson Hall in the fifth inning and earned the victory. Forbes Road out-hit Southern 6 to 5.

McConnellsburg 5

McConnellsburg (0-1, 0-1 SHL, 0-1 ICC) traveled to Northern Bedford and dropped a close league contest 6-5. The Black Panthers scored off a one out double in the seventh for the win.

Southern Fulton (1-0, 1-0 SHL, 1-0 ICC) shut out Fannett Metal 15 – 0 in three innings at the season opener played last week on the Tiger field.

Southern Fulton (0-2) took on Clear Spring at home in a non-league matchup and fell to the Blazers 12 to 1. Kylie Golden, Kierstyn Morton and Bailey Burkett each had hits for the Lady Indians. Kylie Golden got the loss.

McConnellsburg (1-1, 1-1 SHL, 1-1 ICC) played the Tussey Mt. Titans at home and handed their opponent an 11 to 0 defeat. Julia Lafferty led the Lady Spartans at the plate, going 2 for 3. Sami Hensley picked up the win.

Fannett Metal hosted league rival Southern Fulton (0-1, 0-1 SHL, 0-1 ICC) and broke open a close game in the bottom of the fifth for a 6-1 win. Kylie Golden finished with two hits for the Lady Indians and scored Southern Fulton’s lone run. Cheyenne Miller and Janelle Appel both doubled for the Indians.
