Arrest Warrant

A traffic stop along the 600 Block of East Market Street in McConnellsburg found a local man with a warrant out for his arrest in West Virginia. According to state police, Cody Carbaugh, 21, Needmore was pulled over on Dec. 8, 2017, between 1:55 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. when, upon further investigation, the discovery was made.

Theft By Deception

On Feb. 24 at approximately 2:10 a.m. two unknown males scammed the McConnellsburg Giant Food Store. According to state police, the men completed a quick-change scam at three checkout registers, stealing a total amount of $779.93.

School Bus Crash

On Feb. 27 at 7:48 a.m. a 17-year old Warfordsburg driver struck a school bus. According to state police, the 2017 Bluebird school bus, driven by Dale Keller, 55, Warfordsburg, was pulling out from a bus stop at 3866 Mc- Kees Gap Rd. when the juvenile’s 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier struck the bus at the 7 o’clock position. No injuries were reported.


A harassment took place at 2313 Buck Valley Rd. in Warfordsburg March 3 involving two residents. According to state police, the incident occurred at 11:10 p.m. when Erin McCusker, 32, Warfordsburg harassed, annoyed, or subjected unwanted physical contact upon Levi McCusker 36, Warfordbsurg.


A harassment occurred at the Central Fulton School District on Feb. 23 at 10:55 a.m. when, according to state police, Annette Rasp, 51, Mc- Connellsburg, did with intent to harass, annoy, or alarm the victim, Crystal Glee, 37, Mc- Connellsburg, for no legitimate purpose.

PFA Violation

A protection-from-abuse violation occurred at 342 West Tannery Rd., Wells Tannery, when a 75-year-old male from Marcy, N. Y., placed a telephone call to a 53-yearold female in Wells Tannery. According to state police, the suspect called at 12:47 p.m. and did not say anything during the call. It was determined that the telephone call may have been place by accident. Fulton County District Attorney declined prosecution in this case.

Car Crash

A crash occurred while a driver was stopped lawfully behind a school bus on March 1 at 3:05 p.m. According to state police, Victoria Gumpher, 59, Hustontown, was sitting in her stopped 2013 Volkswagen Passat on Great Cove Road near Rock Hill Road when Jason Rodriguez, 24, McConnellsburg, failed to stop his 1995 Dodge 1500 and struck Gumpher’s vehicle in the 12 o’clock position.

Criminal Mischief

A fence post at 477 Blackberry Lane in Todd Township was broken by someone on March 2 between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Anyone with information is asked to call the McConnellsburg state police at 717-485-3131.
