Domestic Harassment

A domestic harassment occurred on Snowy Lane in McConnellsburg Feb. 13 between midnight and 12:30 a.m. According to state police, Taylor Souders, 20, Mc- Connellsburg, engaged in committing acts to harass, annoy, or alarm an 18-yearold female from McConnellsburg.

Aggravated Assault

An assault occurred Feb. 17 between 3 a.m. and 9 a.m. at 618 E. Maple St. in Mc- Connellsburg. According to state police, Amy Groce, 36, McConnellsburg, was arrested for striking a 35-year-old male of McConnellsburg repeatedly with an unknown instrument, causing a laceration to the victim’s face and left leg. As a result, the accused was placed in Bedford County Jail. Bail was set at $60,000.


A driver fled the scene of a crash that occurred on Croghan Pike Saturday night. According to state police, Andy Price, 24, Shade Gap, was driving his 2014 Ford 150 on Feb. 17 at 10:38 p.m., when he lost control. Price failed to negotiate a left-hand curve in the roadway, causing him veer off the road and strike a tree. The vehicle received disabling damage, and Price fled the scene.


A traffic stop on Great Cove Road resulted in finding a local man under the influence. According to state police, Shawn Plantz, 47, Mc- Connellsburg, was driving on Feb. 15 at 9:34 p.m. when he was pulled over for a traffic stop. He was found to be under the influence and was taken to Fulton County Medical Center for a blood draw.


According to state police, a 42-year-old male from Mc- Connellsburg was taken to Fulton County Medical Center on Feb. 17 at 5:59 p.m. after he overdosed on prescribed medication.


A DUI occurred on Feb. 3 on Great Cove Road in Belfast Township. According to state police, Aaron Edward Hahn, 33, McConnellsburg, was arrested at 5:08 a.m. after he was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol.
