Motorist Forced Off Road, Robbed

A motorist was robbed Jan. 4 at 5:10 a.m. when he was forced off the road by another vehicle. According to state police, the 36-yearold Harrisonville male was driving on South Mountain Road when a red passenger car traveled into the oncoming lane and forced the victim’s vehicle partially off the roadway. When the victim pulled into a nearby parking lot three males exited the red car. Two of the males approached the victim and ordered him out of the car and to place his hands on the hood. The third male took a stance as if he had a gun, police said. The victim was then robbed of his wallet, cellphone, pocket knife, and $40. The victim was given his wallet back, and the thieves abruptly left the scene. Anyone with information should contact the PSP-McConnellsburg at 717-485-3131.


A 14-year-old male from Harrisonville is accused of burglarizing a hunting camp. According to state police, the juvenile entered the camp located at 2228 Buck Rd. on Dec. 24 between 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. The juvenile removed three items, alcohol, and nine other items. All items were recovered and applicable charges were filed.


A 14-year-old Hustontown male was accused of harrassing a 35-year-old female also of Hustontown. According to state police, the incident occurred January 1 at 1:20 a.m. The accused pushed the victim during an argument at 184 North Clear Ridge Road and was charged harrassment.


An assault that occurred in Hustontown has resulted in charges. According to state police, William Cole, 26, Hustontown, engaged in a physical altercation with a 26-year-old female, also of Hustontown Dec. 26, at 10:45 p.m. The altercation took place at 16467 Pleasant Ridge Rd.


A harrassment occurred on Cromwell Ridge Road, resulting in a physical altercation. According to state police, Thomas Fleck, 47, Hustontown, and Michael Fleck, 18, Hustontown, were at Cromwell Ridge residence when Thomas shoved a 43-year-old female. Shortly after, Michael began a physical altercation with Thomas.

Use of Tobacco On School Property

A student at Mc- Connellsburg High School was found chewing tobacco on school property. According to state police, a 17- year- old male was found with the substance on Jan. 2 at 10:50 a.m.

Identity Theft

A possible identity theft occurred on Monday, Jan. 1, at 451 Black’s Mountain Rd. According to state police, an unknown person may have used the Social Security number of a 69-year-old female of Waterfall to gain employment.

Two Cited With Harassment

An altercation occurred at Hillside Estates December 15 involving a 17-yearold known female and Sherry Jay, 51, McConnellsburg. According to state police, both parties were cited with harassment following the altercation, which ended at 7:50 p.m.

Retail Theft

On Jan. 4 at noon, Todd Walker, James Creek, Pa., entered the McConnellsburg Sheetz and took items without paying for them.
