Port Royal Speedway announced a huge Memorial Day 2018 weekend for the track adding the Northeast Ultimate Super Late Model Series to the already huge Bob Weikert Memorial weekend.

Scheduled for May 26-27 at the Port, the 410 Sprints will go after big money in the Bob Weikert Memorial, $5,000 to win Saturday with $10,000 awaiting the Sunday night winner.

Added to the weekend will be the big Late Model event that will pay $3,000 to win on Saturday, May 26, with $5,000 going to the winner of the Sunday night event.

Port Royal has been releasing its 2018 schedule with some big dates on the calendar, including the $51,000 to win All-Star-sanctioned Tuscarora 50, which will be a part of the new MAVTV television programming with the All Stars.

In some other big, local news, the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series National 360 Sprint car tour will make its first-ever appearances at Williams Grove and Selinsgrove speedways.

The big Battle of the Groves weekend will take play May 4-5 and will feature the ASCS sprints. The ASCS Sprints have only ever competed at Susquehanna Speedway many years ago but never at two of the area’s most popular speedways.
