Ronald D. Clippinger, 71, McConnellsburg, died Monday, November 27, 2017, at Chambersburg Hospital.

He was born in Burnt Cabins, March 30, 1946, the son of the late Louise (Mentzer) and Eugene Clippinger. He was the husband of Linda (Knepper) Clippinger, whom he married June 19, 1965.

He was of the Protestant faith.

He served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War, retired from Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, and also owned and operated Clipp’s Antique Shop in McConnellsburg.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter, Tracey Shelley, McConnellsburg; brothers: Donald Clippinger, Warfordsburg; Richard Clippinger, Scotland, Pa.; a sister, Judy Sheldon, Burnt Cabins; granddaughters: Alaina Gartland, Big Cove Tannery; Connie Jo Skiles, McConnellsburg; and Darci McCloskey, McConnellsburg; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services were private.
