Criminal Mischief

An argument between a Mercersburg woman and a McConnellsburg man escalated to physical damage to a vehicle. According to state police, Joshua Cotton, 30, Mc- Connellsburg, was arguing with a 25-year-old female from Mercersburg on Oct. 27 at 11:32 p.m. at 946 Meadow Mountain Dr. Cotton became angered over the conversation about the victim’s father.

Car Crash

A crash occured on Mountain House Road that resulted in a stop sign being struck. According to state police, Malachi Sipes, 18, Everett, was driving his 1998 Honda Accord through an intersection on Moutain House Road and North Valley Road Oct. 30 at 11:30 p.m. when he struck a stop sign. The vehicle continued forward until it struck a tree, and stopped due to disabling damage. Also in the car was Burnt Cabins resident, Nathan Loreman, 18. Injuries are unknown.

Accident On Forbes Trail Road

A crash occurred at the intersection of Forbes Trail Road and Waterfall Road, leaving a man injured. According to state police, Jesse Vance, 38, Hustontown, was traveling in his 1995 Ford F-150 on Nov. 13 at 1:55 a.m. when he ran through the stop sign at the intersection. Vance’s truck hit a small embankment on the east berm of Waterfall Road before hitting a small fence and traveling down the other side of the embankment, where his truck came to a final rest when it hit a concrete jersey barrier near mile marker 177.6 of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Severity of Vance’s injuries are unknown.
