JLG Collecting Items For Hurricane Harvey Flood Victims


JLG is accepting donations at its McConnellsburg plant to be distributed to flood victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas. Residents who wish to contribute can drop off items Thursday, September 7, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., at JLG’s McConnellsburg facility, located at 1 JLG Drive. Employees who work at the facility are also invited to donate items through September 11 during the weeklong drive.

Needed items include:

Personal care

 Toothpaste
 Toothbrushes
 Deodorant
 Shampoo
 Soap
Bath towels
Feminine hygiene products

Food and beverage

 Canned meats
 Peanut butter
 Bottled water
 Sports drinks
 Any other canned items

Baby care

 Disposable diapers
 Baby food
 Powdered formula
 Baby shampoo
 Bottles


 Blankets
 Pillows
 Flashlights and lanterns

 Batteries
 Games
 Toys
 Undergarments
 Socks
Items should be new and in
original packaging.

The JLG facility will be staffed with employee volunteers and signs will be posted to direct visitors to the appropriate area. Additionally, JLG will have a donation drop-off area for employees through September 11.
