Lucille A. Cullen

Lucille A. Cullen (nee Jablonski), Lackawanna, N.Y., entered into eternal peace Saturday, May 13, 2017, surrounded by her family, following a brief illness

She was the wife of the late Thomas Sr.; loving mother of Dr. Thomas Jr. (Bronwen) and Sandy Cullen; cherished grandmother of Lucille “Lucy” and Thomas III; daughter of the late Leonard and Adele (Ogarek) Jablonski; dearest sister of Mary Ann (late Donald) Held, Leonard (late Mary) Jablonski, Joseph (Kim) Jablonski, Barbara Stahl and Robert Stahl; dear aunt of Donald (Julie) and Jennifer Held, Kristen Stahl, Barbara, Leonard and the late Joanne Jablonski and several great-nieces and nephews.

Lucille was a proud graduate of Immaculate Academy and earned a paralegal degree from Medaille College. She worked in law offices and later in the NYS Court System for Superior Court Justice Hon. Frederick Marshall, retiring as secretary to the clerk of the court.

She was an active member of St. Michael the Archangel and merged parish of Queen of Angels, where she was a longtime member of the choir, altar and Rosary Society and bingo committee.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 18, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Pacer Funeral Home Inc. (Jos. M. Litwin Chapel), 1629 Electric Ave., Lackawanna. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of Angels Parish, Warsaw St., at Electric Ave., Lackawanna, Friday, May 19, at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice.
