Receiving Stolen Property Investigation

McConnellsburg state police reported that they are investigating a case of receiving stolen property at 24 Brooklyn Dr. in Mc- Connellsburg. Police said the stolen property is a gray Mazda RX8 that was stolen in Six Mile Run, Pa., and that the victim is Kasie Elliot, 22. They reported the suspect as known but did not identify the suspect.

Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia

A juvenile McConnellsburg male was found in possession of drug paraphernalia by state police on April 11 at 6:20 p.m. The discovery was made along the 100 block of Buchanan Trail in McConnellsburg.

TV Antenna Feed Line Damaged

A WJAL TV antenna feed line at 16946 Buchanan Trail West, Ayr Township, was damaged sometime April 5 through April 10, reported McConnellsburg state police, who ask anyone with information about this criminal mischief to call 717-485-3131.

DUI/Drug Possession Charges Pending

DUI and drug possession charges against Brooke Guss, 19, Altoona, are pending following an April 10 speeding stop on Interstate 70 in Brush Creek Township. McConnellsburg state police reported that Guss was stopped at 9:06 p.m. for speeding and found under the influence of a controlled substance and in possession of marijuana and prescription pills.

Dublin Twp. Break-in

Somebody made a forced entry into a residence at 243 Sheepskin Hollow Rd., Dublin Township, through a rear entrance, resulting in damage to the door’s frame. McConnellsburg state police said that no items were missing from the home and no further damage was done. They also reported that the date and time of the break-in were not known.

Hypodermic Needles Found

State police reported that discarded hypodermic needles were found at 644 Lincoln Way East, Mc- Connellsburg, on March 27 at 11:30 a.m.

Two-vehicle Crash

A 2013 Chevy Equinox turning left from Pleasant Ridge Road onto the Lincoln Highway in Licking Creek Township hit the rear of a westbound 2001 Ford Windstar on April 14 at 8 a.m. McConnellsburg state police did not identify either driver, but did report that there were no injuries and minor damage to both vehicles. The driver of the Chevy was cited with a traffic violation.
