Alice B. Reams

Alice B. Reams, 78, of Harrisonville, died Monday, March 6, 2017.

She was born February 24, 1939, in Harrisonville, the daughter of the late Walter Floyd and the late Beatrice Mary (Hill) Kline. She married the late Rev. David B. Reams June 22, 1957, in Harrisonville.

From the day of their marriage, until the time Rev. Reams retired, she was a faithful and integral part of Rev. Reams’ ministry. She was active in many of the church activities.

She was a member of Mc- Connellsburg United Methodist Church. Family was everything to Alice, she provided unconditional love to not only her children but her grandchildren as well. She owned and operated the former Country Goose Crafts Store in McConnellsburg. She later operated Alice’s Sewing Room in McConnellsburg, until her passing.

She is survived by one son, John (life partner of April Shoemaker) Reams, McConnellsburg, and one daughter, Suzanne (wife of Steve) Moore, Harrisonville; six grandchildren: Steven Moore, George Richards, Jessica Moore, Cody Richards, William Mills and Samantha Moore, and three great-grandchildren: Jayden, Jaylin and Stella; and one brother, Harry Kline, Harrisonville.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Rev. David Reams.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 10, at McConnellsburg United Methodist Church. Rev. Robin Baer officiated. Interment was in Asbury Cemetery, Harrisonville.
