Pills Taken

Prescription pills were stolen from a Todd Township residence between March 1 and March 14, according to state police in McConnellsburg. Victim was a 51-year-old McConnellsburg man.

Woman Accused Of DUI

Nineteen-year-old Lauren Ashley Lewis of Norristown has been accused of driving under the influence in connection with a traffic stop at the intersection of Lincoln Highway and Oak Ridge Drive on April 12. State police said troopers stopped Lewis at 10:17 p.m. She was transported to Fulton County Medical Center for a blood withdrawal.

Warfordsburg Man Arrested For Operating Meth Lab

Forty-year- old Michael John Burton of Warfordsburg was arrested by the Morgan County, W.Va. Sheriff’s Department on April 8 for operating a clandestine drug laboratory, possession with the intent to deliver methamphetamine, driving under a revoked license, improper registration and no insurance. He’s being held at the Eastern Regional Jail in lieu of $200,000 bail. Burton is also being held without bond as a fugitive from justice from Allegheny County, Md.

St. Thomas Woman Jailed

A St. Thomas woman was arraigned and remanded to the Franklin County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail after she resisted arrest during a traffic stop. According to state police in McConnellsburg, 51- year-old Julie Dian Over was stopped by troopers for a traffic violation between 4:45 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. Saturday along Lincoln Way East near Sipes Funeral Home. Over was allegedly driving under the influence and then attempted to assault the trooper while resisting arrest. Over is charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, harassment, criminal mischief, driving under the influence and various traffic-related violations.

Woman Charged With Public Intoxication

Fifty-one-year-old Julie Dian Over of St. Thomas was charged with harassment and public intoxication as a result of an incident in the Save-A-Lot parking lot Saturday. Over was reportedly under the influence to such a degree that she and others were in danger, state police said. In addition, Over is also accused of slapping a 38- year- old McConnellsburg man in the face

DUI Crash In Boro

Pennsylvania State Police in McConnellsburg investigated a driving-under-the-influence related accident in McConnellsburg Borough Sunday morning.

Reports indicate a vehicle driven by 34-year-old Elizabeth Ann Querry of Saxton allegedly struck a parked vehicle on South Second Street at 1:50 a.m. Querry was determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol and was arrested for drunk driving and summary traffic violations.

Harassment Charges Filed

Charges of harassment have been filed through Magisterial District Judge Wendy Mellott against 29-year-old Christopher Joseph Black of Hustontown, state police reported. Black is accused of grabbing a 31-year-old Hustontown woman during a verbal dispute that occurred on the 4600 block of Waterfall Road Saturday at 9:30 p.m.

Identity Theft Repor ted

A 65-year-old woman reported to state police in Chambersburg she was the victim of access-device fraud and identity theft. The woman’s debit-card information was stolen and used to make multiple fraudulent purchases online for Sony Playstation network online gaming merchandise between February 5 and March 18. The location of the incident was reported as Taylor Road in Fulton County.

One Cited For Harassment

Twenty-one-year-old Anthony Dionte Green of Mc- Connellsburg was cited through Magisterial District Judge Wendy Mellott for harassment following an incident at 46 Hillside Estates in Todd Township. Green is accused of striking a 30-year-old McConnellsburg man on Monday about the face and head, said police, adding that the victim suffered injuries during the 6 p.m. incident.
