Snow, Ice & Rain!



Snow that began early Presidents Day turned to freezing rain by Tuesday morning and eventually rain as the temperature rose. The mid-winter storm left enough snow, ice, slush and water on roads to close schools and make return-to-work travel somewhat difficult. Snow- and ice-clogged gutters had vehicles driving through standing water on Lincoln Way, above, and a PennDot employee, right, working to unclog them.
