Reba L Wright, 84, Columbia, Md., died Friday, December 18, 2015, at Gilchrist Hospice facility in Columbia, Md.

She was born in Knobsville, April 5, 1931, the daughter of Raymond and Sara Wible.

She was married to Rodney S. Wright, originally of Everett, who passed away November 18, 2014.

She grew up in McConnellsburg, and graduated from high school in 1948. She then attended business college in York, Pa. She worked as a secretary during the fundraiser for the Fulton County Medical Center and as office manager for the facility once it opened. She later worked in the office of Dr. McLucas when it first opened.

She is survived by two beloved sons: Dr. Timothy B. Wright and Peter C. Wright and three sisters: Marian Aldstadt, Lois Cohn and Nancy Hewitt.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Clair, and a sister, Dorothy.

There will be no service. She will be interred at Union Cemetery near McConnellsburg. Contributions may be made in her memory to your local SPCA. times until his passing in 2000.

She had a great influence on many people through the years. >Her wit was sharp, but her kindnesses were many. She helped many local organizations with fundraising activities, including the Franklin County Library and Norland Garden Club. She served for some time as treasurer of Trinity Episcopal Church of Chambersburg and taught trust banking while she worked as a trust officer at Chambersburg Trust Co. >(now M&T Bank), where she was employed for more than 23 years.

She served as past president with both the local American Institute of Bankers and Franklin-Fulton County Bankers and served several years on the board of The John H. Shook Home.

She is survived by her half-sister, Karen Rhoades; her husband, Greg, and their son, Scott, along with many nieces and nephews.

Interment was in Lincoln Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the local Humane Society in honor of her beloved dog, Bridget.
