Alcoholics Anonymous Meetings Alcoholics Anonymous meetings are held every Monday morning at 11 a.m. (even holidays) in the Pearl Room, second floor of Fulton County Medical Center, and every Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the basement of McConnellsburg Alumni Building, located at 301 East Maple Street. Both are open meetings that anyone can attend.

Alzheimer’s/Dementia Support Group Alzheimer’s/ dementia support group meets the third Tuesday monthly at 6 p.m. in Fulton County Medical Center, Pearl Room. More information may be obtained by calling 717-485-6108.

Yoga Classes Reaching Wellness yoga classes will be held for all ages Wednesdays at 5 p.m., at the Fulton County Medical Center. Call for cost and to register at 717-485-4492.

Community Wellness/Silver Sneakers/Prime Community Wellness/Silver Sneakers/Prime will be held Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Wednesday and Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at Fulton County Medical Center cardiopulmonary rehab gym. The cost is based on insurance. Call 717-485-6149 to see if insurance provider is accepted. Community Wellness is $40/month/person or $70/month/couple.

Nutrition Class Fulton County nutrition awareness classes are held at Warfordsburg Senior Center on the third Monday of every month from 10:30 a.m. to noon. When the third Monday is a holiday, the class is held the fourth Monday. To register or sign up for lunch call 717-294-6020.

Nar Anon Cancelled Weekly meetings for Nar Anon have been cancelled. Anyone needing more information about Nar Anon should go to www.nar-anon.org.

Narcotics Anonymous Narcotics Anonymous will meet at 7 p.m. Sunday nights in Fulton County Medical Center in the Pearl Room. NA is a nonprofit fellowship or society of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem. Membership is open to all drug addicts, regardless of the particular drug or combination of drugs used (including alcohol). Anyone is welcome. RECREATION

Mic Night Mic Night will be held at Warfordsburg Senior Center January 9, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Kitchen opens at 4 p.m. Food and drink will be available. Monetary donations are appreciated. For more information call 717-294-6020.

Line Dance Fulton County Line Dance Club will hold line dance sessions every Wednesday (except the first Wednesday of the month) beginning at 7 p.m. at VFW Post 655, Poplar Street, McConnellsburg. All are welcome. Come and learn some new steps. A $2 donation is appreciated.

Shooting Match A shooting match will be held at Hustontown Firehall New Year’s Day at 1 p.m., for 12-, 16- and 20- gauges. First- and second-place prizes will be awarded. A special round will be shot for a hog. Everyone must shoot all 10 rounds to be able to shoot for the hog round.

HAFCO Auction Hustontown Area Volunteer Fire Co. will hold a consignment auction of coins, furniture, collectibles and antiques January 1 and 2. Doors open at 11 a.m. and at 9 a.m. on January 2. More information may be obtained by calling 717-331-6562. Food will be served. All are welcome.

Meals Available Once a month volunteers pack up boxes of food to be given to anyone in need in the Waterfall area. Pickup is at Center United Methodist Church community building on Doran Road, Waterfall. More information may be obtained by calling 814-685-3780. Calls will be kept strictly confidential.

Breakfast At Senior Center Breakfast will be served at McConnellsburg Senior Center Tuesday, December 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Served will be pancakes, sausage and beverage. Cost is $4. For more information call 717-485-5613.

Free Lunch The first Friday of every month a free and nutritious lunch is served in the Faith & Life Center at Mc- Connellsburg United Methodist Church on the courthouse square from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Free Meal A free meal will be served the second Tuesday of each month at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 220 North Third Street. Please join in for good fellowship.

Turkey Dinner Breezewood Fire Co. will hold a turkey dinner January 10 at 11 a.m. Meals will be available to eat in or takeout. Meals can be ordered the day of the dinner at 814- 735-4418. Proceeds benefit the fire company.

Boy Scout Meetings Get started on the Trail to Eagle. Join Boy Scouts of America with new, exciting trained leadership. McConnellsburg Troop 43 invites all boys ages 11-17 to join in Monday evenings at 7 p.m., in the McConnellbsurg Presbyterian Church education building basement at the corner of Second (U.S. 522) and Maple. The goal is help all on the Trail to Eagle with camping and hiking trips, biking and many other merit badges. From cooking to communication to horsemanship and woodworking.
