Vacation Bible School is being held this week at Calvary Baptist Church.

A bluegrass gospel festival, hosted by Bedford Chapel Church, was held Saturday.

Jane Humbert Wright, formerly of here, and Dolly Mellott Keith met with members of their class of 1957 last week for lunch in Greencastle. They both live in the Chambersburg area.

Fulton County Farm Bureau held its annual picnic Sunday at the Siloam Methodist Church picnic grounds.

Emma, Jody and Kacey Hann, Sue Keebaugh and Brady Seiders are helping this week at Green Knoll Special Needs Camp in Huntingdon.

The descendants of Elmer and Nellie Covalt held their annual reunion Saturday at Warfordsburg Community Park.

A ninth birthday was held Sunday for Tobias McGarvey and his friends at the home of his parents, Toby and Dena McGarvey. Tobias spent his birthday with some buddies at his home on Sunday and took a trip to Gettysburg on Monday with his family.

Rain fell in the area over the weekend with high temperatures and humidity.

Margaret Kozozska is home recuperating after spending some time in Fulton County Medical Center.
