Hustontown

By Kate Berkstresser

We had a beautiful weekend to enjoy, but the weather still calls for more snow.

Our sympathy is extended to the family and relatives of LaRhue Cunningham who passed away last week.

Happy birthday wishes to Linda Englert, March 25; Martha Berkstresser, March 24; and Catherine Rhodes, March 27.

June Bennett spent Sunday with Kate Berkstresser.

A combined worship service will be held at Fairview United Methodist Church with Knobsville Church attending at 9:30 a.m., Sunday, March 30. Bring a covered dish for brunch following the service.

Tristan Gelvin and Macklin Hawkins were chosen to play in the District 5 All-Stars basketball game held at Chestnut Ridge Monday night.

A rummage sale will be held Saturday, April 5, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Knobsville United Methodist Church.

Household Hint: An old golf bag or a golf cart makes a great tool caddy. Fill it in the tools you use most with garden and yard: rake, shovel, hoe, etc. You can put hand tools in the bag pockets. There is even a readymade ring for a hand towel on most golf carts. When you are ready to go to the garden, just pull the cart with you.
