Students Attend District Band



Nine student musicians from Fulton County travelled to Mifflin County High School on February 8 to participate in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association District 4 Band Festival. Among those on hand were McConnellsburg students, left to right, Vicky Chatley, Veronia Stone and Sara Windegardner; Southern Fulton students Ausin Miller and Logan Faith; and Forbes Road students Hannah Purnell, Logan Kennedy, Miriah Hamil and Zach Fittry. Serving as guest conductor during the one-hour performance was Dr. Jack Stamp, a professor of music, chair of the music department and director of band studies at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
