Court Session Held February 18
Judge Carol L. Van Horn of the 39th Judicial District of the Fulton/Franklin County Court of Common Pleas presided over a court session held at the Fulton County Courthouse on Tuesday, February 18.
Heather Marie Kennedy failed to appear in court for sentencing on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol. A bench warrant was issued for Kennedy’s arrest.
Antonio Everett McNear appeared for sentencing last Tuesday and was granted a continuance until April 1.
Joseph Anthony Runk was sentenced to 36 months probation in connection with a case involving theft by deception and forgery.
Christine Marie Sipes appeared for sentencing and was ordered to 48 months intermediate punishment program, which will include one day incarceration in the Franklin County Jail, three months electronic monitoring and six months intense supervision.
Salem Israel Bank waived formal arraignment and entered a guilty plea to two counts of simple assault, harassment and one count each of disorderly conduct and driving while operating privileges were suspended. He will next appear in court for April call of the criminal trial list.
Tony Tyrone Gantz failed to appear for arraignment on one count each of materially false written statement and statement under penalty. A bench warrant was issued for Gantz’s arrest.
Mark Justin Knight waived arraignment proceedings on one count each of the use or possession of drug paraphernalia, endangering the welfare of children, simple assault, harassment and two counts of reckless endangerment. Knight pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of children and simple assault and was sentenced to probation.
Leonard Wayne Metzner failed to appear for arraignment on one count each of delivery and possession of a controlled substance.
Medina L. Souders waived her right to formal arraignment and entered a not-guilty plea to two counts of fraudulently obtaining food stamps or assistance. She will next appear in court for April call of the criminal trial list.
