Southern Fulton 52
In spite of digging themselves out of a hole twice last Tuesday night, Southern Fulton still wasn’t able to pull off an upset over Northern Bedford. Losing the Sideling Hill League game by the final score of 58-52, the Indians were led by Dylan Gordon with 18 points and five rebounds. Connor Litton tacked on 15 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and three steals.
McConnellsburg barely inched out the Everett Warriors last Tuesday, clinching the Sideling Hill League match by the narrow margin of 60-59. The victorious Spartans were led by Tyrelle White with 16 points. Landon Richards posted a career high 13 points, which included three three-pointers.
Southern Fulton 51
Everett got off to a slow start and only managed four points in the opening period last Wednesday and fell to Southern Fulton by the score of 51-33. During the Sideling Hill League match, Jordan Clingerman recorded 19 points and seven rebounds to lead the Indians. Connor Litton posted eight points, two assists and 11 rebounds.
Forbes Road 85
Northern Bedford 65
After going back-andforth in the first half Friday night, Forbes Road came back after the halftime break to win big against Northern Bedford. Helping to down the Panthers by a margin of 20-points, Tristan Gelvin paved the way with 24 points and six rebounds. Kyle Schoen netted 19 points and grabbed six boards. Brock Broadwater added on 14 points, and Macklin Hawkins posted 12 points and six rebounds. Chase Shaw also had 12 points.
Fannett-Metal extended a seven-point halftime lead into a 61-45 Sideling Hill League victory over the Mc- Connellsburg Spartans last Monday night. Nick Daniels posted a career- high 16 points for the Cardinals, and Jake Boehme tacked on 12.
Forbes Road 56
Belleville Mennonite 42
Junior Brock Broadwater led the Forbes Road Cardinals last Monday night during a 56-42 non-league win over Belleville Mennonite, topping the stat sheets in scoring, rebounds and steals. Broadwater finished out the night with 15 points, eight rebounds and four steals. Tristan Gelvin and Kyle Schoen both added 10 points.
Chestnut Ridge 85
Forbes Road 81
Chestnut Ridge and Forbes Road took it to four overtimes Saturday evening but it would be the Lions, who would prevail in the end by a mere four points. Dropping the Sideling Hill League game 85-81, senior Tristan Gelvin continued to lead the Cardinals with 31 points and six assists. Fellow senior and teammate Macklin Hawkins followed with 19 points and 13 rebounds for a doubledouble, and Chase Shaw had 15 points and six assists.
Frederick Force 58
Frederick Force jumped out to an early lead recently and cruised to a 58-19 nonleague victory over Fulton County Community Christian School. Caleb Gingerich posted 15 points, 10 steals, eight rebounds and four blocks for a double-double for the Chargers.
Frederick Force 53
Frederick Force outscored the Fulton County Community Christian School in each quarter and ended the non-league game in a 53- 34 victory. Morgan Daniels tallied 19 points for the Chargers, who also received 13 points, six rebounds and five assists from teammate Jenae Gordon.
Lighthouse Christian 14
Fulton County Community Christian School posted a 24-9 lead at halftime and went on for a 41-14 nonleague win. Hannah Beddow rallied for 11 points and two steals, and Jenae Gordon recorded 10 points, seven rebounds and six steals. Morgan Daniels was the next highest scorer with eight points and three assists.
Southern Fulton 48
With senior Macey Hollenshead in foul trouble, Olivia Mottern picked up the pace for the Southern Fulton Lady Indians, who defeated Everett last Wednesday 48-29. Mottern tallied 15 points and was followed by Hollenshead and Ashley Roman with 14 and 10 points, respectively. Roman also pulled down 11 boards and five blocked shots.
Forbes Road 60
The Forbes Road Cardinal defense managed to hold off Hope for Hyndman last Wednesday evening, allowing only two points in the second quarter. Winning the non-league match 60-32, the Cardinals received 17 points and 11 boards from Braylin Hohman. Mina Wilt scored with 12 points, and McKenzie Gelvin finished with eight points and four steals.
The McConnellsburg Lady Spartans commanded a 13-point lead in the first quarter and cruised to a 75- 42 win over Hope for Hyndman last Friday night. Bronwyne Mellott recorded 28 points to lead the Spartans, who also got 18 points from teammate Sarrah Pollock.

Forbes Road 36
After hanging tight with Chestnut Ridge for the first three periods Friday night, the Forbes Road Lady Cardinal offense failed to muster a win. Falling by the final score of 43-36, senior Shania Gelvin had 15 points and nine boards for the Cardinals. Braylin Hohman also reached double figures with 10 points and six rebounds.
Southern Fulton 37
What was a close game Saturday night was blown wide open by Bellwood-Antis, who held Southern Fulton to only 10 points in the second half. Macey Hollenshead had 15 points to lead the Lady Indians during the 54-37 Inter-County Conference championship game. Ashley Roman recorded yet another double-double with 10 points and 16 rebounds. Olivia Mottern reached double digits with 11 points.
Northern Bedford 48
The Northern Bedford Panthers fought back in the third quarter Saturday, but it would be the McConnellsburg Lady Spartans who prevail for a 10-point Sideling Hill League victory. Bronwyne Mellott had 16 points, 12 rebounds and four steals to lead the Spartans during the win. Sarrah Pollock added 13 points, seven rebounds and six assists, while Sam Roberts tallied 14 points.
The McConnellsburg Lady Spartans outscored the Everett Warriors in the second and fourth periods last Monday night, but it wasn’t enough to prevail in the Sideling Hill League game. Dropping the match 55-48, the Spartans received 21 points and 12 rebounds from Bronwyne Mellott. Kylie Keefer contributed a careerhigh 11 points.

Southern Fulton outscored Northern Bedford by a margin of 22 points last Monday night and cruised to another Sideling Hill League win. Macey Hollenshead recorded 19 points, nine assists, five steals and five rebounds to help the Lady Indians capture the game 67- 37. Ashley Roman also hit double figures with 11 points and four blocks. Teammates Maddie Mellott and Olivia Mottern both finished with 10 points.

Forbes Road’s offense couldn’t muster a point in the opening period of last Monday’s game and ended the Sideling Hill League match in a disappointing 55- 16 loss to Tussey Mountain. McKenzie Gelvin led the Lady Cardinals with eight points and three steals.
