Paw Paw 40
Having lost in overtime earlier in the season, the Fulton County Community Christian School held off Paw Paw recently for a 50-40 nonleague victory. Jenae Gordon led the Lady Chargers with 18 points, seven rebounds, five assists and four steals. Teammate Hannah Beddow tacked on 10 points and 14 rebounds for a double-double, and Morgan Daniels added 17 points, five rebounds and six blocks.
Calvary Christian 48
Fulton County Community Christian School commanded a lead until the middle of the third quarter, but it would be Calvary Christian that would prevail for an 11- point non-league victory. Jenae Gordon tallied 20 points and 10 rebounds for a double double and led the Lady Chargers’ offensive and defensive efforts. Morgan Daniels was the next highest scorer with nine points.
Johnstown Christian 60
Johnstown Christian jumped out to a 16 to 4 lead and then cruised to a big 60- 35 non-league victory over Fulton County Community Christian School. Posting a whopping 24 points, four rebounds and five steals, the team was led by Lady Charger Jenae Gordon.
Forbes Road 46
Avenging a loss earlier in the season, Forbes Road pulled off a narrow two-point win over rivals from Mc- Connellsburg last Thursday night to win the Sideling Hill League match by the score of 46- 44, Cardinal Braylin Hohman netted 20 points and pulled down nine rebounds. Shania Gelvin added 11 points. For the Lady Spartans, Bronwyne Mellott totalled 23 points, while Sam Roberts followed with seven.
Southern Fulton 63
Southern Fulton’s 22- point lead in the first period Thursday night extended into a 63-28 Sideling Hill League over the Fannett- Metal Tigers. Ashley Roman led the Lady Indians scoring effort with 22 points and three blocked shots. Macey Hollenshead added 14 points, 10 assists and six rebounds. Olivia Mottern closed out the night with 12 points and four steals.
Southern Fulton 63
Chestnut Ridge 39
Coming off a sizeable victory the previous evening, the Southern Fulton Lady Indians rolled to a 63-39 Sideling Hill League victory Friday over Chestnut Ridge. Ashley Roman again led the offense with 24 points, and Macey Hollenshead’s tripledouble consisted of 10 points, 11 assists and 11 boards.
Chestnut Ridge 56
Chestnut Ridge may have been hot from the threepoint zone, but it would be McConnellsburg’s free throw shooting that would lead the Lady Spartans to a 60-56 victory Saturday. During the Sideling Hill League matchup, Bronwyne Mellott recorded 21 points. Sam Roberts followed closely with 19 points and four assists. Kylie Keefer led the defense with 12 boards.
Southern Huntingdon 38
McConnellsburg’s threegame losing streak came to a halt Tuesday night when the Lady Spartans overcame the Southern Huntingdon Rockets 48-38- during an Inter- County Conference match. Bronwyne Mellott recorded yet another double-double with 25 points and 11 rebounds. Sam Roberts added on 11 points, and Brittany Parson had six points and 11 rebounds.
Northern Bedford 61
Forbes Road 51
Tied at the halftime break, Northern Bedford had a huge fourth period to overcome the Forbes Road Lady Cardinals 61- 51. Braylin Hohman’s double- double consisting of 24 points and 11 boards paced the Cardinals during the Sideling Hill League match. Shania Gelvin and Mina Wilt both contributed seven points.
Mercersburg Academy 39
Fulton County Community Christian School and the junior varsity squad from Mercersburg Academy squared off recently with the Chargers prevailing by a mere four points. Caleb Gingerich totalled his fourth triple-double of the year for the Chargers with 24 points, 20 rebounds and 12 steals. Teammate Austin Smith was the next highest scorer with eight points, four rebounds and three steals. Dave Gartner chipped in six points and 11 rebounds.
Calvary Christian 51
Calvary Christian and Fulton County Community Christian School battled it out until the fourth quarter when Calvary Christian pulled away for a nine-point win. Caleb Gingerich led the Chargers with 24 points, 13 rebounds and eight steals.
Southern Fulton 54
Chestnut Ridge 40
Southern Fulton broke open a tight game during the third quarter last Thursday night to defeat Chestnut Ridge 54-40. Jordan Clingerman’s double-double for the Indians consisted of 16 points and 10 rebounds. Connor Litton finished in double figures as well with 13 points and six rebounds, while Trent Rider added 11 points.
Forbes Road 73
Led by a trio of senior starters, the Forbes Road Cardinals used a big scoring effort following the halftime break to defeat their rivals from McConnellsburg by the score of 73-53. The Sideling Hill League win was led by Tristan Gelvin with 23 points, and Cardinal teammates Macklin Hawkins and Kyle Schoen both tacked on 17 points. The Spartans were led by Tristin Deneen and Chase Novak with 14 and 12 points, respectively.
Southern Fulton 76
The Southern Fulton Indians bumped up their season record to 17-2 Friday night with a decisive 76-43 Sideling Hill League victory over Fannett-Metal. The Indians had four players reach double digits during the match, with Dylan Gordon leading the way with 32 points. Connor Litton added 16 points, and teammates Trent Rider and Brady Golden had 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Forbes Road 59
After trailing by 17-points at the halftime break, the Forbes Road Cardinals poured on the offensive heat and fell just shy of beating District 5-A top- seeded Berlin Saturday. Losing the match by one point, the Cardinals received 18 points, six rebounds and six steals from lead scorer Brock Broadwater. Tristan Gelvin added 17 points, and freshman Aaron Schepis came off the bench for seven points and four assists.

Southern Huntingdon 33
Southern Huntingdon was held to a mere 12 points following the halftime break Saturday by the Southern Fulton Indians, who finished out the day with a 64-33 Inter County Conference win. Jordan Clingerman rallied for 17 points, eight rebounds and three assists. Connor Litton added 12 points, five rebounds and five assists, and Dylan Gordon closed out the match with 15 points.
Southern Huntingdon 48
McConnellsburg’s offense got off to a very rough start and didn’t recuperate until the fourth period last Tuesday night. Dropping the Inter County Conference game to Southern Huntingdon by the score of 48-37, the Spartans were led by Jake Boehme and Matt Snyder with 10 and nine points, respectively.
