Call Of the List Held January 14

Judge Carol L. Van Horn of the 39th Judicial District and the Fulton/Franklin County Court of Common Pleas presided over a court session held on Tuesday, January 14, in the Franklin County Courthouse.

 Albert Leroy Hess appeared in court last Tuesday for call of the criminal trial list in connection with one count each of delivery and possession of a controlled substance. Hess’s trial has been scheduled for March 12.

 Heather Marie Kennedy entered a guilty plea to driving under the influence of alcohol and will be sentenced February 18.

 Eric Ann Lund will undergo a criminal trial on March 21 in connection with charges of burglary, criminal trespass and theft by unlawful taking.

 Antonio Everette McNear requested a trial on charges of conspiracy to commit theft. The trial will be held January 31.

 Shane William Meck entered a guilty plea to driving under the influence of a controlled substance and was sentenced to three days to six months in the Franklin County Jail.

 Joseph Anthony Runk pleaded guilty to theft by deception and will be sentenced February 18.

 James Edward Shank entered a plea of guilty to driving under a suspended license-DUI related. He will be evaluated for participation in the state intermediate punishment program.

 Nathen L. Skidmore entered pleas of guilty to disarming a law enforcement officer, escape and terroristic threats. He will be sentenced February 11.

 Daniel Emerson Strait Jr. will undergo a trial on March 26 in connection with charges of defrauding secured creditors.

 Stuart Leroy Tharp Jr. pleaded guilty to driving under a suspended license-DUI related and will be evaluated for participation in the state intermediate punishment program.

 Stuart Neal Totten pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol. In a separate case, Totten also pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol. In both cases, he will be sentenced February 4.

 Individuals granted continuances until the April trial term include Linda Leigh DeShong, Jose Louis Gonzalez, Shane Stewart Hill, Andre Terell Keene, Mary Wade Lamb, Erin Renee McCusker, Antonio Everette McNear, Chris Alan Neil Sr., Ronald Oduro Anokye, Warren L. Seville and Dennis Ray Thomas.
