The Southern Fulton Lady Indians pulled away in the third period last Monday night and ended the Hancock Winter Mixer with an easy 82-44 victory over Clear Spring, Md. Macey Hollenshead’s double-double consisted of 18 points, 15 assists, nine rebounds and six steals. Hollenshead was also named the mixer’s most valuable player. Meanwhile, Ashley Roman was the lead scorer with 19 points and was named to the All-Tournament Team. Olivia Mottern also reached double figures with 14 points, eight rebounds and five steals.

Forbes Road 54

Belleville Mennonite 30

Forbes Road outscored Belleville Mennonite in the opening period Saturday by a margin of 14 points. The Lady Cardinals rolled on to a 54-30 non-league win, with junior Braylin Hohman once again paving the way with 20 points. Mina Wilt tacked on 12 points, seven steals and three assists.

Christian 13

McConnellsburg had three members of the Lady Spartan squad reach double figures Saturday as part of a 84-13 trouncing of Cumberland Valley Christian. Bronwyne Mellott scored 22 points for the Lady Spartans during the non- league match, while Sarrah Pollock followed narrowly with 20. Sam Roberts added 11 points, and Kylie Keefer recorded eight points and 10 rebounds.

Belleville Mennonite 40

Senior Kyle Schoen recorded a career-high 20 points Saturday for the Forbes Road Cardinals, who downed Belleville Mennonite 65-40. Teammate Tristan Gelvin also reached double digits with 12 points during the non-league game, and Macklin Hawkins chipped in nine points and eight rebounds.
