60th wedding anniversary wishes to Ernest and Margaret Barton on November 21.

The family of Florence Fix held their Christmas celebration Sunday at Fulton County Medical Center.

The weather was nice for the many churches in the county that held services on Christmas Eve.

The family of the late Ted and Irene Hall held their annual Christmas dinner on Saturday in the Fair Ridge Assembly of God Church at Shade Gap.

A record was broken last week when the temperatures rose to 70 degrees on the East Coast, the first time in 90 years.

Ruth Souders, a resident of the long-term-care unit of Fulton County Medical Center, enjoyed seeing most of her family on Christmas Day. Family members visiting were from town, Chambersburg, Philadelphia and Willow Hill.

Bud and Donna Sain observed their 49th wedding anniversary on December 30, and Bob and Donna Garlock will observe their 60th anniversary on January 10.

An elementary snowball dance sponsored by Mc- Connellsburg Alumni and Friends Association was held on Saturday.

Hustontown Area Volunteer Fire Co. held an open stage on Saturday night.
